WESTBOROUGH, MA, April 9, 2014 – Wakefly, leading web development and online marketing firm, was honored at the 2013 Horizon Interactive Awards; receiving Gold for Tennessee Rural Health Website (TRH) in the Health/Human Services, and Silver for the Broward County Public Schools website.

The Horizon Interactive judging panel consists of industry professionals from around the globe, and judge each website through various criteria, including creativity and originality, overall graphic design and user experience, and technical merit. Entries were also evaluated by a panel of end-users making the 2013 results a product of one of the most comprehensive and well-rounded processes of any interactive media competition. Judges look for the best blend of creativity and functionality.
The 2013 competition saw over 1600 entries from around the world including nearly all 50 States and 24 countries around the world including: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom.div>
Wakefly has also been recently honored at the 2013 Interactive Media Awards, receiving Best in Class in the Insurance website category for the redesign of the NHI website. The award-winning firm was also named a 2013 Pacesetter by the Boston Business Journal earlier this year.
