Atlas was looking to streamline their existing content, consolidate 4 business segments into a more cohesive website moving away from silo approach. The redesign was to refresh the existing site with a modern design that was inline with the Atlas brand.
Wakefly assisted Atlas Van Lines with the build-out of a new website for its Atlas Logistics brand on Kentico 11. Wakefly was responsible for the design and build out of the Kentico templates along with the functionality for them. Wakefly built out the new site within the same Kentico instance that houses 12 other sites.
The main challenges of this redesign were the merging 4 business segments with their own contact forms and content into a single unified experience for Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management and Warehouse Management. The solution was to identify the common fields for the existing forms and create 1 form with those and then give the user the option to choose their area of interest, based on this selected we then display the fields relevant to their interest; a 5th option was added for General contact requests. Finally the consolidating of 100+ pages into 20-30 pages was a challenge, but the client was very knowledgeable of their existing content and what the messaging was to be on the new site.
