Project Overview

Ardent Credit Union partnered with Wakefly to modernize their existing Kentico 12 website by upgrading to Kentico 13. The goal was to preserve the current design and content while leveraging enhanced functionality to improve content management for their marketing team.

Wakefly began with a comprehensive audit of the existing site, mapping a strategic transition to the Kentico 13 platform. Using page builder layouts, sections, and widgets, the majority of content was seamlessly migrated. The rebuilt site prioritized ease of use, enabling non-technical users to efficiently manage and update content.

A key focus was empowering the marketing team to quickly create landing pages, including integrated lead capture forms to support campaign efforts.

As part of the development process, Wakefly conducted a thorough accessibility audit to ensure compliance with WCAG standards, delivering an inclusive and user-friendly experience for all visitors.

The result is a modernized website that is significantly easier to manage, giving the Ardent team greater flexibility while maintaining a consistent and familiar user experience.

Ongoing Digital Marketing Partnership

Wakefly has partnered with Ardent Credit Union on their digital marketing efforts since 2019, building a long-term relationship focused on performance and continuous optimization.

The engagement began with an SEO audit to evaluate technical performance and identify opportunities for improvement. This included addressing issues such as duplicate metadata, broken internal links, and crawlability challenges related to robots.txt, redirects, and canonical tags.

In addition, Wakefly supported Ardent’s paid media efforts. With limited prior investment in Google Ads, the engagement provided an opportunity to build a strategy from the ground up. This included extensive keyword research, development of a tailored campaign mix across search and display, and the creation of optimized campaign structures, ad copy, and extensions.

Since the beginning, Wakefly has continued to guide strategy, optimize performance and help Ardent adapt to evolving market conditions for banks and credit unions.
