Custom Applications
Wakefly builds custom software applications that help our clients run their businesses by automating business processes and improving communication between internal and external stakeholders. Our approach to building custom applications is to first understand the drivers and business objectives. This up front time spent analyzing your needs and the way you run your business before even talking about the specific solution, allows us to build the right solution for your business. Then, using the latest development technologies (Enterprise, Java, ASP.NET, and PHP) we design custom, database-driven web applications to meet your unique business requirements.
Our in house team of developers has years of experience building database-driven enterprise class applications. From needs analysis to conceptualization and then from implementation to testing and enhancements, our development team has the right mix of resources to help you reach your business goals.
Database Integration
Linking your site to existing databases and other internal systems, such as your CRM system, is one of the keys to making your site an effective tool for your business. We provide seamless integration between forms on your site and existing internal databases and systems. Whenever a visitor fills out a Contact Us form or signs up to receive your enewsletter, that data is automatically imported into your current system. You can track your leads and more effectively follow up on them. No longer will these leads go unanswered.
Intranets and Portals
Wakefly builds intranets and portals to help our clients streamline business processes and better communicate with employees, customers, sales personnel and partners. Wakefly’s intranets and portals are password protected custom applications that contain sensitive material, viewable only by those who have been given permission to access the site.
Intranets are great tools to disseminate marketing materials to your direct and channel sales forces, and human resources policies and information to your employees. They also provide an efficient means to collaborate with your partners and customers.
Some of the intranets and portals we’ve built include:
- A password protected site where our client, a general contractor, is able to manage jobs/projects available to contractors. Sub contractors are able to log in and silently bid on jobs/projects.
- A private site where our client and its OEM partners can collaborate on projects. The client provided a portal where its partners are able to access downloadable documents provided by the client as well as upload their own documents and form discussion groups.
- A portal where authenticated customers can login to view or download previously purchased software evaluation kits.
- An intranet where employees can login to view and edit their benefits as well as company policies.
