Project Phases
In working with Wakefly, a typical project includes several distinct phases.
Phase 1: Define and Analyze
What are your needs? What are your end-user needs? What are the requirements to be competitive within your industry? We begin every project with a kick off meeting where we go through a marketing questionnaire. We discuss topics such as positioning, including your elevator pitch, and explore your target market and your competition and spend time discussing your unique value proposition. This phase, in essence, involves gaining a consensus on business objective priorities, success benchmarks, target audience profile and key messaging points.
Phase 2: Planning
In this phase, Wakefly’s marketing, creative and project management resources come together to create the communications strategy, refine the tactical components and develop the offer/call-to-action. For Web site projects, the architecture, information design and brand elements are fleshed out so as to be compatible with the desired tone and feel. For collateral projects, initial concepts are discussed and designed.
Phase 3: Conceptual Development
Here, concepts are fully explored and developed in accordance with the agreed-upon plan, copy and design criteria.
Phase 4: Quality Assurance and Testing
The products goes through a development and design QA to ensure all deliverables are met and your needs have been addressed.
Phase 5: Execution / Launch
Web sites are moved from the production server to the live server; collateral is produced; print ads are inserted in appropriate publications; and direct mail pieces are dropped in concert with follow-up sales calls.
Phase 6: Maintenance
Once marketing communications programs are up and running, Wakefly and our clients maintain regular contact. Our reporting systems and ongoing status reports provide thorough updates and in-depth tracking – enabling us to review current results and discuss any necessary program refinements.
