Since our inception in 2002, Wakefly has always taken the opportunity to give back to the local community. Our very first philanthropic endeavors were with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay and the Westborough Food Pantry. As the company has grown, so has our involvement with other organizations. Wakefly works with many organizations and provides employees with the opportunity to volunteer during the work day to contribute. We are proud to share that Wakefly employees contribute hundreds of hours per month helping our local communities at the following organizations:
Marlborough Chamber of Commerce
Since moving to Marlborough in January of 2016, Wakefly has been a proud member of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s mission is to promote and improve businesses individually and collectively, and to foster economic development that will lead to regional success of the Marlborough area. Wakefly is proud to be part of this great network of over 650 local area businesses.
Make A Wish
Wakefly actively sponsors the Swing for Wishes in Hopkinton, MA every year. This local golf outing helps to raise money for Make A Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are excited to be a part of such an incredible organization and its giving of over 1400 local wishes.
Berlin Family Food Pantry
Wakefly is a proud sponsor of the Berlin Family Food Pantry. Starting in June of 2016, we have been making monthly donations of food and supplies to help care for families in need. The Berlin Food Pantry was created to help struggling local families and to foster a strong sense of community between volunteer and client.
Boy Scouts Troop 1 Hopkinton

About Big Brothers Big Sisters
The Mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
Volunteers serve as mentors (Bigs) to children (Littles) who are living in poverty, come from single-parent households, or face other types of adversity. Bigs and Littles meet weekly to work on homework, attend sporting events, go for a hike, cook a healthy meal, do a science experiment or play board games. The essential activity is quality, uninterrupted time between a reliable, caring mentor and a child in need of additional adult support. Mentors are a consistent adult presence in the lives of mentees celebrating their successes, facing challenges with them and helping them reach their full potential.
