Our first blog entry (and one that’s been a long time coming)! I’ve always found the first blog entry interesting, as it needs to set the stage for what to expect, not an easy task in the dynamic world of blogging. But the more critical aspect is to then deliver on the promise over and over again. If good content is provided on a topic of interest, over time this will help set up an audience of loyal readers, which will eventually form a community. The larger the community, the more referrals the blog receives, and the larger the readership and community grows. The larger the community, the more people are talking about you and how you provide (hopefully) expert advice on the topic. And on, and on.
In the end, setting up a blog is not at all different from other online marketing and lead generation initiatives. You have to define who you are, claim your space, and prove why you are different than others out there. The ways you go about doing this may differ, but in the end if the path followed leads to a definition, claimed space, and differentiation, no doubt your customer base will build. And if you take care of them, they’ll refer other customers. Those customers will advocate you to others. And on, and on.
So that’s what we’re here to do. It is our intended use of this blog to offer tips that will allow you to generate qualified leads by using online marketing tactics such as web design and development, search engine marketing, email marketing, and other web applications and online marketing strategies. Oh, and the obvious conclusion—how to track your ROI and make the case for marketing internally. So stay with us, check out Wakefly’s Blog, and make sure to refer us to your friends.
