Google recently launched a new AdWords call tracking feature called “Website Call Conversions”. This new conversion metric gives advertisers the ability to track call conversions that occur on their website after a customer clicks on their search ad. This works by having a snippet of code added to your website. Once this code is added Google will dynamically insert a Google forwarded number that will show to the consumers who reached your site from a paid search add for up to 90 days after the initial click.
This new feature will allow advertisers to further see how consumers interact with their site after their initial click as well as give them the ability to assign different values for calls originating from specific website pages. Google Reporting then has the ability to show which keywords are leading to the most call on the website which will give advertisers a clearer picture of the return on ad spend (ROAS) they are achieving.
With this new feature now added to Google PPC advertising: now is as good a time as ever to start growing your business and expanding your reach today!
