Website Design and Development

Situation

Founded in 1961, Janis Research Company is a recognized leader in the design, development, and production of cryogenic equipment. It provides the scientific and technical community with the highest-quality cryogenic equipment for research, characterization, and industrial applications. The Company’s customer list has grown to include some of the world's largest corporations and best-known research centers and institutions. To better cater to this audience, Janis decided it was time to redesign its website to better reinforce its brand and educate its target markets.

Solution

Janis Research partnered with Wakefly for its web design and development project. Wakefly met with the Janis Research core team, and, in an iterative process, designed the look and feel of the new website. The rounds of designs and the final design are depicted to the right. Wakefly then developed the website using the Sitefinity content management system (CMS) as the base. Having Sitefinity CMS powering the website will allow Janis Research to easily manage and update the new website. Wakefly built a custom "print this page" feature into the website to ensure that visitors could easily view and share a physical copy of the web page. Janis Research also elected to have its website hosted by Wakefly.
