Situation

Invention Machine, a leading provider of enterprise software and services that promote knowledge-enabled innovation, was in the process of rebranding when it contracted with Wakefly to design and develop a website that would reflect its new brand, easily educate its target marketing on its software offering, and generate qualified leads. Invention Machine also wanted to be able to easily update its website on-the-fly as needed.

Solution

After meeting with Invention Machine to discuss the branding specifics and garner other pertinent information, Wakefly implemented its proven web design and development process. As Invention Machine was having trouble describing its innovation software product and contrasting it to consulting service providers, Wakefly utilized the homepage banner space to create an impactful and interactive message. This message allowed Invention Machine to quickly and easily describe its core differentiators, and also invited the user to interact with the flash banner to learn more about the product. Since its implementation, the flash is the most clicked-on path in Invention Machine's site, with the majority of users then following the click-paths laid out in the information architecture of the flash. The website also reflect Invention Machine's new branding and associated strategic messaging.
