Situation

Averion International Corp., a global Clinical Research Organization (CRO), required a new website that effectively described its full breadth of services to its target markets and served as a lead generating tool. During the web design and development process, Averion announced that it was acquiring Hesperion.

Solution

Using its proven web design and development process, Wakefly worked with Averion in discussing its business and marketing goals. Wakefly then used this information to develop two website design concepts for Averion. The first concept was very warm and featured images of Averion employees with accompanying quotes. The second version was very scientific in its feel, and called out Averion's four practice areas prominently across the top. In the final website design version, Averion elected to combine elements of both concepts. Wakefly then developed the website in the Ektron CMS so that the marketing team at Averion could easily manage post implementation. Wakefly also worked with Averion to accommodate the design and content considerations associated with the acquisition, and was able to successfully launch the site within the agreed upon time frame.
